Since 1988 SHAL Engineers has designed, manufactured and installed specialist equipment for government, defence, steel, research and manufacturing customers. These are some of the projects we are proudest of.

Our story

  • 1988SHAL Engineers is established in the UK as a specialist mechanical engineering company, built around a team of hand-picked, experienced engineers.
  • 1994We purchase our own Derbyshire facility in Staveley, with a design and drawing office, machining, fabrication and assembly areas, and a 15-tonne overhead crane.
  • TodayA complete in-house service, from site survey and design to manufacture, installation and commissioning, for customers across the UK.
